Privacy policy
This website has no forms, no accounts, no advertising, no tracking cookies, and no third-party analytics. We receive personal information only when you e-mail or call us, and we never sell it.

Effective date: November 1, 2026
Who we are
Metadragons LLC (“Meta Dragons,” “we,” “us”) is a patent research, analytics, and commercialization firm at 1209 Mountain Road Place NE, Suite C, Albuquerque, NM 87110. This privacy policy explains what personal information reaches us through metadragons.com or when you contact us, how we use it, who we share it with, and the choices you have.
This policy does not replace any confidentiality terms in an NDA or engagement agreement you sign with us. Where those terms are stricter, they control.
The short version
- The website has no forms, no accounts, no advertising, no tracking cookies, and no third-party analytics.
- The site is static and hosted on Cloudflare, which processes standard server and security logs to deliver and protect it.
- Personal information reaches us only when you choose to e-mail or call us.
- We never sell personal information. We share it only with service providers who help us run the business, at your direction, or when the law requires it.
- Client engagement materials are covered by our NDA and engagement terms. They are handled in US-based systems, encrypted, never used to train AI models, and deleted on request within 30 days of project close.
What this website collects
What the site does not do
The site has no contact forms, accounts, logins, comments, or newsletter sign-ups. It runs no advertising, retargeting pixels, social-media plug-ins, or third-party analytics, and we set no tracking cookies. Our maintenance-fee calculator runs in your browser, and the dates you enter are not sent to us.
Server and security logs
The site is a set of static pages hosted on Cloudflare. To deliver those pages and protect the site from attacks and abuse, Cloudflare processes standard server and security logs on our behalf. These logs include information such as your IP address, your browser’s user agent, the URL you requested, and the time of the request. Cloudflare acts as our service provider for this processing and describes its practices in the Cloudflare privacy policy.
We use these logs only to operate, secure, and troubleshoot the site. We do not use them to build profiles of visitors or to identify you.
Security cookies
We set no cookies of our own. If Cloudflare’s security features need to tell a person from an automated bot, Cloudflare may set a short-lived security cookie, for example to record that your browser passed a challenge. Cloudflare describes these cookies as strictly necessary (Cloudflare cookies). We do not use them for advertising or analytics.
Information you send us
E-mail and phone
When you e-mail or call us, we receive what you choose to share: typically your name, e-mail address, phone number, organization, the content of your message, and any attachments. If you call, we may also have a record of your number and any voicemail you leave.
We use this information to reply to you, schedule a scoping call, prepare a quote, provide the services you engage us for, and keep ordinary business records. Our how we work page describes the steps from first call to delivery.
Please keep confidential details out of your first message
E-mail is not the place for an unfiled invention. Please describe your technology in a sentence or two at first, and keep confidential technical details until we have signed an NDA.
Client engagement materials
During an engagement you may share invention disclosures, drawings, CAD files, product information, portfolio lists, or deal documents. These materials are governed by the NDA and the engagement terms we sign with you. In addition, we commit to the following:
- Client files are handled in US-based systems.
- Client files are encrypted in transit and at rest.
- Access is limited to the people working on your engagement.
- Client materials are never used to train AI models. Our method page explains how we use AI tools in our work.
- Client files are deleted on request within 30 days of project close.
How we use personal information
We use personal information to:
- respond to your inquiries and prepare quotes
- deliver and coordinate the services you engage us for, including with your patent practitioner when you ask us to
- send invoices and keep business, tax, and accounting records
- protect the site, our systems, and our clients from fraud, abuse, and security threats
- comply with legal obligations
We do not use personal information for advertising, and we do not build marketing profiles.
How we share personal information
We do not sell personal information, and we do not share it for targeted or cross-context behavioral advertising.
We share personal information only:
- with service providers that help us run the business, such as website hosting, e-mail and telephone, secure file storage, and accounting and payments. They may use it only to provide services to us.
- at your direction, for example with your patent attorney or agent, or with a counterparty in a transaction you have authorized.
- when the law requires it, for example in response to a valid subpoena or court order.
How long we keep it
- Server and security logs are processed by Cloudflare and kept under its own retention practices. We do not keep separate copies for profiling.
- Correspondence is kept as long as we need it to respond to you and for ordinary business records.
- Client engagement materials are kept as the engagement terms provide, and deleted on request within 30 days of project close.
Some records, such as invoices and signed agreements, may be kept longer where the law requires.
How we protect it
We protect client files with encryption in transit and at rest, US-based systems, access limited to the people who need it, and confidentiality agreements. No system is perfectly secure. If you believe something you sent us has been exposed, please tell us right away at support@metadragons.com.
Your privacy rights
Requests we honor for everyone
Wherever you live in the United States, you can ask us to:
- confirm whether we hold personal information about you
- give you a copy of it
- correct it if it is wrong
- delete it, except where we must keep it by law or to complete an engagement you asked for
We respond within 45 days. If we need more time, we will tell you why.
US state privacy laws
A growing number of US states have consumer privacy laws. They give residents rights such as access, correction, deletion, and data portability, and the right to opt out of the sale of personal data, targeted advertising, and certain kinds of profiling. Each law applies only to businesses that meet its thresholds, such as revenue or the number of residents whose data they process. Whether a particular law applies to us depends on those thresholds. Either way, we honor the requests listed above.
We do not sell personal information, use it for targeted advertising, or use it for profiling, so there is nothing to opt out of. If your browser sends a Global Privacy Control signal, we treat it as an opt-out request anyway.
How to make a request
E-mail support@metadragons.com with “Privacy request” in the subject line, or write to us at the address below. To protect you, we may ask for enough information to confirm that the request comes from you, and we will use it only for that purpose. You may also use an authorized agent; we may ask for proof of the agent’s authority. If we decline a request, we will explain why, and you can ask us to reconsider.
Children
This site is meant for adults doing business. It is not directed to children under 13, and we do not knowingly collect personal information from children. If you believe a child has sent us personal information, contact us and we will delete it.
Visitors outside the United States
We serve clients in the United States, and client files are handled in US-based systems. Cloudflare serves the site from a global network, so server and security logs may be processed wherever Cloudflare operates.
Changes to this policy
We may update this policy as our practices or the law change. The effective date at the top of this page shows when it last changed. If we make a material change, we will note it at the top of this page, and we will not use information you have already sent us in a materially different way without telling you first.
